PROPHECIES OF THE FUTURE ~ FOR JEWS ONLY
OR
WONDERFUL HOPE FOR A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR JEWISH PEOPLE!

At the end of most of our foundation articles we have promised that being Jewish is a good thing, because in the near future things will develop to make all Jewish people happy!

If you have been kind ~and honest enough ~ to look at the previous article on this web site ‘HATIKVAH FOR SECULAR JEWS’ you will know that we respect the thousand of Jewish People who do think of themselves that way… ‘Secular’ meaning, honest, non-religious Jewish-born people who have realised ‘religiosity’ and rituals and rules from certain of the Judaistic hierarchy is not for them. However we know, from talking to friends who feel this way, that it does not mean you are closed to considering some important questions, like ‘What’s So Special about Being Jewish?’

All this means that we have offered some serious FACTS and concepts
that should be at least considered by genuine Jewish-born People.

One is: that without a Divine Holy Being ~ Israel’s God acting in History,
there would be no ‘Jews’ in history, or now in the 21st century!

This is linked to the possibility that there are unusual events for
Jews that do NOT apply to any other race of people
and that these specific events were foretold over 2000 years ago!

It is clear that almost all the circumstances today’s Jews find themselves in
were foretold only about the Jewish people ~
not any other race of people ~ thousands of years ago. 

These are given in the Tanakh, (many are repeated in several places) which
along with other considerations means that the Tanakh is the greatest
set of writings specifically for Israeli/ Jewish people.

Please read and think about the paper we have written about the Tanakh, here,
or the previous article if you have not read it, ‘Why You Are Here’.

Only you, as an honest Jewish person can decide
thoughtfully if you agree with these points.

IF MANY PROPHECIES IN THE TANAKH FOR JEWISH PEOPLE
HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED, THIS MEANS THAT PROPHECIES FOR
THEM IN THE FUTURE ARE SURE TO HAPPEN. *

We are only taking some ‘snippets’ of these from the Tanakh
for you to consider. The ones we are giving you do not include details
of exactly how, when and why these are for Jewish people in the
near future – not a long time away – but we’ll include these later.

As you read these, please realise Jewish people have waited,
and GOD Himself has waited ~ A very long time, but there are many
signs that even better things will happen soon!

We will add more details later, or you can read
other verses from the Tanakh here.

A time of peace and security for Israel is coming.

  • “After many days…” [That is end times /’Olam ha-zeh’ – like now,] “A Land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations… Now all of them live in safety.”

  • [Ezekiel 38. 8]. This chapter and the next are specifically about a future event for Israel.

  • Moshe said this before he died in his last speech to the Israeli Nation, “The Eternal God is your Refuge and underneath are the Everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemy before you, saying ‘destroy them’. So Israel will live in safety alone!” Deuteronomy 33: 28. [See note above *]

Israel, will finally be given possession of ALL the Land God promised them.

  • “ADONAI will have compassion on Yacov, once again He will choose Israel and will settle them in their own Land.” Isaiah 14: 1.

  • But there is comfort for readers who have non-Jewish relations that they love, and would like to have them nearby! “Non-Jews will join them, and unite with the House of Jacob/ Yacov. Isaiah 14:2.

  • In fact Israel will be able to claim and will be given twice as much as God actually promised them. Plenty of room for 20 million Jews and their families and even friends!

  • “Instead of disgrace [criticism] they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their Land, and everlasting joy will be theirs!” from the prophet Isaiah 61: 7.

An exciting time of restoration and remaking Israel a beautiful, prosperous Land.

  • There are just so many of these prophecies it is hard to know which ones to quote for you!

  • “But you O mountains of Israel will produce branches and fruit for My People Israel, for they will soon come home… I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before…

  • I will cause people – My people Israel to walk upon you. They will possess you, and you will their inheritance, you will never again deprive them of their children.”

  • Of course this is put in rather poetic language – as after all – it was written by the prophet Ezekiel about 500 years BCE. He didn't know about computers and 'modern technology'!

  • But it’s clear that it means a good future for Jewish people in ‘Eretz Isra’el’.

ALL Jewish people from the entire world will return to Eretz Isra’el.

  • “When I have brought them back from the nations and have gathered them from the countries of their enemies, I will show Myself Holy, through them in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I AM ADONAI their GOD, for though I sent them into exile among the nations, I will gather them to their own Land, NOT leaving any behind.”  Ezekiel 39: 27 & 28. [Wow!]

  • “ADONAI will have compassion on Jacob; once again He will choose Israel, and will settle them in their own Land.” Isaiah 14: 1.

The idea of all the Jews leaving their lives in USA, Britain, Australasia, etc would be like the Exodus!

  • Can you imagine ALL the Jews, from the entire world returning to Israel? This is what Yesha’yahu/ Isaiah wrote in chapter 11. “In that day ADONAI will reach out His hand a second time, to reclaim the remnant of His people, from…” [vs. 11 & 12 ~ here, there and everywhere – you read it!] Then vs.12 says, “from the four quarters of the Earth…ADONAI will dry up the Egyptian sea…. There will be a Highway for the Remnant of His People… as there was for Israel when they came up from Egypt.”  Sounds like another ‘Exodus’ experience to me!

Many children will increase the population of Jews in Israel.

  • Isa 29: 23 "When they see among them their children, the work of My hands, they will keep My Name Holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel."  And Isaiah 61: 9. " Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples.  All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the LORD has blessed."

The Jewish Temple will be rebuilt on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

  • Ezekiel 37: 26 -28. "I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting Covenant. I will establish them and increase their numbers, and I will put My Sanctuary among them forever.  My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be My people. Then the nations will know that I the LORD make Israel holy, when My Sanctuary is among them forever.'"

Israel will have a new, respectful spiritual link to Egypt.

  • Isaiah 19: 18 –21.  "In that day five cities in Egypt will speak the language of Canaan [i.e. Hebrew] and swear allegiance to the LORD Almighty. One of them will be called the City of Destruction. In that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the heart of Egypt, and a monument to the LORD at its border. It will be a sign and witness to the LORD Almighty in the land of Egypt. When they cry out to the LORD because of their oppressors, He will send them a Saviour and Defender, and He will rescue them.  So the LORD will make Himself known to the Egyptians, and in that day they will acknowledge the LORD".

This will actually extend to most of the Middle East.

  • Isaiah 19:23.  "In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. The Assyrians will go to Egypt and the Egyptians to Assyria. The Egyptians and Assyrians will worship together".

Israel will actually become a Spiritual blessing to the entire world.

  • Isaiah 19: 24 & 25.  "In that day Israel will be the third, along with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing on the Earth. The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt My people, Assyria My handiwork, and Israel My inheritance." These last 3 prophecies represent a huge change in attitudes and beliefs ~ but the God of Israel, is still the God of miracles!

All prophecies foretold by GOD.

  • Isaiah 48: - 5.  "Therefore I told you these things long ago; before they happened I announced them to you so that you could not say, 'my idols did them; my wooden image and metal god ordained them.'"

The time has to come!

  • Psalm 102:12 –17.  But You, O LORD, sit enthroned forever; Your renown endures through all generations. You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.  For her stones are dear to Your servants; her very dust moves them to pity. The nations will fear the name of the LORD, all the kings of the Earth will revere Your glory. For the LORD will rebuild Zion and appear in His Glory.  He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; He will not despise their plea".Like we said, God is patient, so He will still do these and many more 'miracles' told of in the Tanakh!

PLEASE DO NOT MEASURE THE FUTURE OF
ISRAEL AND JEWISH PEOPLE BY THE PAST!

Yes, we do remember all the difficulties and tragedies for Jewish people in the past. So who wouldn’t doubt and question and reject the idea of great blessings for Jewish people after so much suffering and cruelty, for so long? Yet the reality is, that this is now, and very soon will be the very reason for a time of unprecedented joy, prosperity, acceptance and everything that could be summed up in the word –BLESSING for Jewish people!

The biggest parts of this is, - that the High and Holy and totally just and fair LORD GOD ALMIGHTY [‘ADONAI El Shaddai’] has promised that Israel will have a time of unprecedented restoration! HE CANNOT LIE! So can you blame us for praying that you will accept and study these things?

Israel is going to be the leading, most outstanding Nation in the whole world!

Wouldn’t that be a good reason for being glad that one is Jewish? You need to think about it. Of course there are other, special and amazing reasons, but we cannot explain them all now. [Look for other articles, which will explain this, but perhaps you could go here.] The absolute fact is that from the point of view given in the Tanakh, there are really only two groups of people in the whole history of the world.

One is the Jewish people ~
The other big group is the Goyim/ Gentile peoples of the world.

But it is the Nation of Israel, with every Jewish person living there in peace and safety that will return to the place of destiny that ADONAI always wanted for the descendants or Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Actually we have to add in all honesty, that the great Creator of mankind has a concern for all mankind, but He ~in His wisdom ~ adopted a strategy higher than people could imagine! Of course you might have heard the Jewish phrase, “Tikkun Olam” ~ “repair the World”? – Sounds O.K.

But that doesn’t even come near to God’s Plans! In fact, to be honest, this is why even some ‘evangelical Christians’ wish very much they could be Jewish! We suspect the reason is ~ they would like to share in the blessings promised to Israel! [By the way - there are some strange, non-biblical ideas about a large part of the world being the ‘lost tribes of Israel’, but this Cult’s beliefs do not check out accurately with the Tanakh, and are misleading and wrong.]

“But stop” you say! “Be realistic, the present has masses of it’s own problems, so why worry about the future?”

We are very conscious that you may have many questions and even disagreements with us. Okay, not all Jews want to live in Israel. Not all Jews want to ‘change the world’ or take on big projects. Not all Jews are sure that the use of names like ‘Zion and Zionist’ are meaningful to them. Life can be busy and demanding just where you are – in the ‘Diaspora’ or even in Israel, and every day there are huge problems and questions cropping up! What about oil prices? The world economy? What about the different natural disasters around the world – even in our own nation? What about all these threats against Israel by Hizballah and Hamas and especially Iran? Well we could go on – but we (like you) are quite aware of all of this as we read the news every day, and we too are coping with life!

Yet we still believe that Jewish people have a very bright future inspite of everything!

So wouldn’t you want to know about it? – Even if you can’t believe it!!! You see, all the evidence and all the predictions and all the facts and inspite of all the arguments, people may bring up: there is only one true answer to the question, “what is the point of being Jewish?”

It is because the God Who made the Jewish People
wants more than anything ~ ONE, to keep all His promises
of Blessings to them, and TWO prove to the whole world,
as well as Israel what a great, Loving GOD He is!

The truth is that it is a very great privilege to be Jewish!

THEREFORE: THERE ARE 3 IMORTANT THINGS ALL JEWISH PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW.

1.  That God chose the JEWISH people for special and wonderful reasons.
2.  That the TANAKH is the most reliable, trustworthy, Holy Scripture for, (especially) individual Jewish People, (like you?) [See here]
3.  That ADONAI is the only, true Holy, Just, (fair) Loving, powerful “GOD of ISRAEL” as a Nation. [For more see here]

The Shema is true and is full of meaning:
“Shema Isra’el, ADONAI Elohaynu ADONAI Ehad.”

SO THESE STRANDS OF THE GOLDEN CORD OF
JEWISH PEOPLES’ EXISTANCE, IS VITAL, FOR ALL JEWISH
PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT AND HAVE TRUE HOPE!

  • If these facts were understood, it would bring true shalom, and freedom, under every circumstance, for every individual ~ Jewish person in the world!

  • Accepting them would be the life-giving restoration to ‘Ha Tikvah’ (The Hope) of a glorious destiny and future for the whole Nation ~ of ISRA’EL, free from all fear, poverty, discrimination or disaster!

  • Finding ADONAI’S way, (and not their own way), would be the key to true fulfillment of their true JEWISH destiny, to be ‘a blessing’ ~ to the entire world!

Here is only one statement of Hope, (of very many),
from the Tanakh, for you:

“As you have been an object of cursing among the Nations,
O Judah and Isra’el, so I will rescue you,
AND YOU WILL BE A BLESSING.” [Zechariah 8: 13.]

Therefore we can make a definite promise
of great Tikvah based on all the beliefs we have
in the Tanakh, also in the God of Isra’el.
